Age Requirement

  • You must be at least 18 years old to purchase products from our store. By using our website, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old.

Compliance with Laws

  • You agree to comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws, regulations, and ordinances related to the use or purchase of any products from our store.

Damages or Loss in Transit

  • If you don’t add insurance to your order we (DOT40 LLC) is not responsible for any damage or loss in transit.
  • Save any and all packing materials, it’s becoming harder to get claims paid, especially through the postal service.
  • “If you add Insurance to your order”; We can re-ship your item and charge you for it immediately.
  • “If you add Insurance to your order”; We will refund the item in the damaged order when we get paid for the claim. We understand this is burdensome but it is the way USPS does it so please keep this in mind when selecting a shipping method. It is your choice.
  • FedEx is much easier to deal with.
  • Also, please keep in mind we are not responsible for USPS mail packages that the US mail says has been delivered; “If you add Insurance to your order” They will not pay a claim even if lost or stolen if they show it as delivered.
  • You accept their terms when you choose that service.
  • We suggest using FedEx, They may cost a little more but the service level is much better.
  • All items purchased from DOT40 LLC are made pursuant to a shipment contract. This means that the risk of loss and title for such items pass to you upon our delivery to the carrier.

Order Address Verification

  • Our site does utilize address verification on credit card transaction. Please be sure you enter the correct billing address for the credit card used. Failure to do so will cause the transaction to be declined and delay your order.
  • Due to fraud, first time orders must have shipping address match the billing address. If not it will delay your order for further identification.
  • You can change the preferred address by calling your credit card provider.
  • Many gift cards come with directions to not use them on the internet because they can’t pass the address verification test.
  • Some gift cards allow you to create an address online so they will work online.
  • If you do not have a gift card that allows this please do not enter it online, it will decline and delay your order.

Order Processing

  • Once an order is placed it may not be cancelled. If you cancel an order once placed a restocking fee or cancellation fee will be assessed.
  • Changes can be made if you call us in time. Do not count on an email for changes as we process very quickly.
  • To add items it is best to place a new order for the added items and make a note in the comment box to combine the orders. Yes it will show shipping on the 2nd order but we will adjust shipping as applicable.
  • Please allow 2-3 business days for processing and an additional 3-7 business days for shipping; shipping times can also vary due the amount of orders.
  • We are not responsible for any delays caused by shipping carriers or other factors beyond our control.
  • Larger orders, out of stock items, and custom ordered products may take 30-90 days depending on specifics of order.
  • Once your order is placed online, you will receive an order confirmation with the status of the order.
  • Once the order is shipping, you will receive an email notification with a tracking number.

Returns & Exchanges

  • Returns: All returns must be new, unused, uninstalled, in original packaging, and submitted within 15 days of purchase.
    All approved returns are issued as a gift certificate for the value paid.
    If you prefer a credit card refund, you must request it—this option includes a 20% restocking fee. Returns without this request are automatically issued as a gift certificate. Once the item passes inspection, we process the return promptly.
  • How to Return: Email us at sales@dot40.net with your order number and a copy of your invoice. Once inspected and approved, your return will be processed.
  • Exclusions: We cannot accept returns on opened items (like springs), serial-numbered products, guns, frames, receivers, special orders, ammunition, or anything that has been modified in any way.
  • The Buyer shall promptly inform the Seller of its wish to Return the item/items and for no more than within 14 days return the goods to the Seller. Product is deemed returned upon receipt by the Seller.
  • Exchanges: Need something different? We’ll ship your exchange right away. You’ll be charged for the new order and the return label. After we receive the original item back in unused, original condition, we’ll refund the value of the returned item (any remaining balance is issued as a gift certificate);  If you prefer a refund to your card, a 20% restocking fee applies.
  • Tariffs & Shipping: All imported items are affected by current tariffs. Return shipping is the customer’s responsibility unless the issue was our error. Undeliverable packages incur USPS return fees. Free shipping applies only if you keep the item.
  • Shipping Services:
    Carriers manage all shipping, tracking, and updates; we do not control their timelines or accuracy. As the recipient, you may contact the carrier directly for updates or claims. If a package is lost or damaged by the carrier, we are not responsible.
                  “We strongly recommend adding shipping insurance to your order”.

    Important:
  • Save all packing materials. Claims—especially USPS—are rarely approved without them.
  • If your package arrives damaged, we can reship the item and charge you immediately. We will refund the damaged item once the carrier pays the claim.
  • USPS does not pay claims for packages they mark as “Delivered,” even if lost or stolen. By choosing USPS, you accept their delivery terms.
  • Warranty: All warranties are handled by the manufacturer, but we’re happy to help connect you with the right contacts.
  • Shipping costs for returns or exchanges are the responsibility of the customer, unless the return or exchange is due to our error.

Errors

  • We strive not to make any errors but occasionally we do. We will make errors correct by reshipping the correct item with a return label for the incorrect item.
  • We are not responsible nor will we be expected to compensate for errors that result in consequential inconveniences.
  • If we make a mistake, we will correct it by sending the correct item.
  • For that reason, we suggest ordering far enough in advance to be sure to have it for that need.
  • Mistakes happen, sometimes with us, sometimes with the shipper. Never fails to be a must have situation where everything must go perfect to meet the time frame when something does go wrong. So please prepare in advance.
  • Shipping costs for returns or exchanges are the responsibility of the customer, unless the return or exchange is due to our error.

Shipping

  • FedEX does charge an address correction fee or redirect fee to fix errors in the address.
  • If its our fault we will eat it. If its the customer fault we do pass those fees onto them.
  • USPS just sends the item back or delivers to the wrong address. So please double check the completeness and accuracy of your address.
  • Because of new policies with USPS when shipping to a PO Box you must address it to the name registered to that box or it will be returned to sender as addressee unknown (Please referrer to “Returns”).
  • Shipping costs for returns or exchanges are the responsibility of the customer, unless the return or exchange is due to our error

Legal

  • You agree that by ordering from DOT40 LLC that any legal proceeding will be completely remedied under the State of Florida Revised Statue. Florida law has jurisdiction and any action must be filed in the State of Florida. If you do not agree to this then please do not order as ordering does bind you by this term and condition.
  • These terms and conditions will be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida, without giving effect to any principles of conflicts of law.
  • Consequential Damages Waiver. EXCEPT AS OTHERWISE PROVIDED IN THIS AGREEMENT, IN NO EVENT WILL DOT40 LLC, employees, or Vendors BE LIABLE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES FOR SPECIAL, INDIRECT, PUNITIVE, INCIDENTAL, EXEMPLARY OR CONSEQUENTIAL Damages arising from actions, errors, or defects for services or products sold, or included in normal business practice, by DOT40 LLC, Employees or Suppliers and including their practices and their products.

Privacy Policy

  • We respect your privacy and will protect any personal information that you provide to us in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these terms and conditions by reference.

Changes to Terms and Conditions

  • We reserve the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time, without prior notice. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website. Your continued use of our website or purchase of products from us after any changes to these terms and conditions will constitute your acceptance of such changes.
